September saw the VCHA’s Maisy Provan complete an astonishing 970 mile charity bike ride in aid of the Prince’s Trust.
Starting in Land’s End and finishing in John O’Groats, she cycled an average 100 miles per day. Speaking from her well-earned break, Maisy said: “It was a challenging, tough nine days but a totally unique experience and an amazing way to see our beautiful country at its best!”
The Senior Physiotherapist, and Army Reserve, who is one part of the Rehabilitation Team, reached both her destination and her target, raising £2,200.
VCHA Team Lead Guy Benson added: “It was fabulous to see Maisy on this year’s LEJOG and once again putting something back! What an incredible role model who always punches above her weight – twice the citizen!”
There’s still time to contribute to Maisy’s fundraising, and details may be found here. The fund is open until 24 September 2021.
