Veterans Covenant Healthcare Alliance

Helpful information for Gurkha soldiers & their families

A leaflet proving information and guidance to assist families of retired Gurkha soldiers who have recently settled in the UK has been produced by the Armed Forces charity’s SSAFA Reading Team.

VCHA Team Lead and former Lieutenant Colonel Guy Benson said: “I have worked with the Gurkhas throughout my career.  They are renowned for their loyalty, professionalism and bravery.  It is only right that we look after them, and their families.

“This is a useful document and a game changer for anyone with a Gurkha population in their area. Jai Gurkhas!”

Details of the document – in English and Nepali – may be found here. To learn more about SSAFA, visit their website at ssafa.org.uk
