Launching our first ever call for photos!

As part of our communications strategy, we want to ensure we accurately represent and create a positive image of the Armed Forces community. Therefore, we are asking YOU, the Armed Forces community, to share photos that represent life in the Armed Forces community.

The theme for this photo call is inspiring hope. The ten best images will be displayed at our conference in September, and online. If your photo is selected, we will send you the print after being displayed at the conference as a thank you .

If you have an image to share with us, please send to: along with a completed consent form (you can download the form here to complete) so we can use your picture. Pictures may be used in both online and in print, for example on posters, leaflets, social media and our website!

Consent MUST be given from those in the photo and / or parental consent where the subject is a child. You have the right to withdraw consent for use in future work at any time.

Photos should be of a good resolution and size, approximately 300dpi and around 2500×3000 pixels in size. Photos can be black and white or colour but should have only minimal editing.

The annual NHS Veteran Aware conference is for those working in healthcare interested in or focused on care for the Armed Forces community. This year’s conference is on Wednesday 11 September 2024 at St George’s Hall in Liverpool. If you would like to attend, you can book your space here.
