Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (MKUH) has added to its armed forces friendly status.

Having been accredited as Veteran Aware in April, it’s now received the top DERS status.

David Wood, our Regional Lead for the Midlands and East of England regions, said: “On top of achieving their Veteran Aware accreditation in Apr earlier this year, the award of Defence Employment Recognition Scheme Gold seals the wider support of the Armed Forces community MKUH offers both clinically for patients, and as an employer for staff, service leavers and spouses.  An exceptional feat and testament to the breadth of their programme and the strength of the partnership working that is central to their success.  Really proud of this achievement.”
