New for 2022: accreditation guide and resource pack

Calling all Trusts – this is for you! We have streamlined and updated the VCHA accreditation guide and improved our resource pack.

Veteran Covenant Healthcare Alliance (VCHA) Team Lead, Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Guy Benson said:

“We listened to the feedback from Trusts who have been accredited, and from those starting the process.  The manifestos have been replaced with one document. The guide and pack are now applicable to all Trusts.

“The Regional Leads continue to provide support and guidance to Trusts throughout the entire process, be it an initial application or a one- or three-year re-accreditation review.  We value your opinion and are always keen to hear from you, and to learn how we can improve so please get in touch! We are still focused on accrediting all Trusts in England by November this year.”

The Veteran Covenant Healthcare Alliance (VCHA) is committed to improving Armed Forces and Veteran care whilst raising standards for all. 105 NHS providers in England are now Veteran Aware accredited, and the VCHA aims to have all Trusts in England accredited by November 2022 at the latest.
