The Veterans Covenant Healthcare Alliance’s website has had a facelift.  Still available on https://veteranaware.nhs.uk/, the new site went live on Thursday, 23 March 2023.

Reflecting best practice, the new website is designed for easier navigation and is less cluttered, but still features the same purple colour scheme. It also features our brand new introductory video, which we will present at our national event on Wednesday, 20 September 2023 in London.

It also encompasses the VCHA’s broadened scope of independents and hospices, as well as our core work of accrediting NHS England Trusts; 66 per cent of all NHS Trusts in England have now joined the alliance and are accredited as Veteran Aware.

We have also decided to introduce a “Meet the Team” section as well as a list of helpful links for veterans. 

The VCHA National Chair, Professor Tim Briggs CBE, said: “I’m absolutely delighted to show off our new website and I’m grateful to the team for developing it. We’ve been conscious that the previous site was becoming a bit tired and needed an update.”
