Veterans Covenant Healthcare Alliance

Step this way

Birmingham’s Millennium Point played host to Stepway’s Veteran Community Day on Friday 15 October 2021.

Stepway is a Midlands-based military community support charity,  that brought together more than 50 organisations who provide services to the Veteran Community.  Former Army Officer David Wood represented the Veterans Covenant Healthcare Alliance (VCHA).

The new VCHA Regional Lead for the Midlands said: “This was a great opportunity to interact with many other agencies that support the military community, both locally and nationally.  It was particularly good to be able to connect, inform and educate people about the VCHA – what we do, our aims and progress – and to develop and build partnerships between NHS healthcare Trusts and the complementary services around them.”

He continued: “In line with the Stepway’s aim, it was definitely an opportunity to network with other organisations and showcase the much-needed services on offer.”
